Facebook updated its Android mobile application today. The most significant addition to the app is the ability to edit Facebook posts after they have been published. The update also lets users put icons in status updates, see upcoming calendar events, and create and share new photo albums from their smartphone. According to Facebook, the iOS app will soon gain the editing function, too. Facebook for Android is free to download from the Google Play Store.
