Sprint to Sell Phones in More Costco Stores
Sprint today announced that it will expand its retail presence within Costco stores. Sprint already operates kiosks at 106 Costco locations around the country. Sprint said it will nearly double that footprint with the addition of 100 new stores. According to Sprint, it will sell its premiere devices, such as LTE 4G smartphones from HTC, Motorola, and Samsung, at Costco stores. The kiosks will be staffed and managed by Wireless Advocates, a third-party provider of wireless products and services, on Sprint's behalf.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Lands In Carrier Stores April 10
Samsung today announced the general availability details for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The devices can be pre-ordered beginning Friday, March 27 and should reach most carrier stores on April 10.
Sprint to Open 1,435 RadioShack Stores April 10
Sprint said it will re-open 1,435 RadioShack stores tomorrow that it acquired from General Wireless. The move will double the number of company-owned stores and give Sprint a much wider retail footprint around the country.
RadioShack Declares Bankruptcy, to Sell Stores to Sprint
RadioShack today filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and signed an agreement to sell approximately 1,750 of its stores to Sprint. Under the terms of RadioShack's Chapter 11 filing, RadioShack will sell the stores to Sprint and General Wireless, a subsidiary of one of RadioShack's major investors.

Sprint today announced a joint venture between it and Dixons Carphone to open 500 Sprint stores around the U.S. The joint venture follows a pilot program the two companies launched last year that saw them test Dixons' best practices in some 20 Sprint stores.
