PC Magazine yesterday previewed many of LG's upcoming models for the US. The F9200, C1500 and C2000 are brand new GSM models.
- F9200: is a successor to the F9100 phone Cingular offers with a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It offers the same keyboard, but a revised numeric keypad, software that allows use of the keyboard for more functions like SMS and email, and VGA camera.
- C1500: is an entry level clamshell with speakerphone. It has an interesting external monochrome display with a color background (of a landscape), to give the illusion of a color display.
- C2000: is an upgrade to the C1500, adding a camera and mp3 ringtones.
LG also previewed phones recently seen in FCC filings such as the VX9800 and C500, as well as two phones we have featured in previous trade show reports: the 7200 GSM slider with PTT and LG's first 3G phone for Cingular, which looks like the U8400 but has been renamed the 320. However PC Magazine reports the 320 is not HSDPA ready, but the U8400 was announced as an HSDPA phone.

They're in the PC Mag article. They have a slideshow.
The C1500 and C2000 are in the database now. They're featured on the front page at the moment.

You would think that they would do something like notebook manufacturers did and put in a docking bay. On that note if your going to be carrying around an add-on battery why not just carry around a spare battery?
i think that lg originally produced the battery pack for its korean phones. it makes sense in korea or japan where (1) people get to work by public transportation and (2) phones have tv receivers, video playback, or other features that seriously drain...
