C Spire Wireless has purchased a 10MHz block of PCS spectrum from Leap Wireless for $6 million. The spectrum covers the market of Biloxi, Miss. C Spire operates along the Gulf Coast throughout Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, where is it planning to expand its LTE service. The spectrum purchase between C Spire and Leap must still meet regulatory approval. Leap Wireless is itself in the process of being acquired by AT&T.
