Sprint today announced its specific launch details of the Samsung Galaxy S 4. The GS4 will be available at Sprint stores beginning April 27 and will cost $249.99 with a new line of service or eligible upgrade. Sprint is offering a $100 discount on the GS4's price to new customers who switch their number from a different carrier, which drops the out-of-pocket cost to $149.99. Preorders for the Galaxy S 4 begin April 18. Sprint's Unlimited Everything plans start at $79.99 per month.
This $249 price is probably gonna be the final straw for me. Sprint took away all the perks of being a long time customer, but they're offering a whole $100 off if you switch to them? Now they're charging $249 for the S4? Their 3g has been garbage for over a year now and their 4g LTE coverage map is full of lies.
I was gonna re-up with them because they offer the cheapest plans, but TMobile is right on par price wise and their coverage in my area is 10x better.

Sadly, Sprint hasn't told us anything, the site is a waste of time to visit because it doesn't say which version either. I'd assume it's the same as what AT&T did when they announced the pricing and it turned out to be the 32GB for $249 and 16GB for $... (continues)
