AT&T Adds Option to GoPhone Mexico Calling Plan
AT&T today announced a new option for customers of its GoPhone prepaid service that's specific to Mexico. The Mexico Plus option costs an additional $10 per month and must be added to an existing $50 or $65 plan. It includes 1,000 voice minutes to landlines/mobile numbers in Mexico and 50 other countries, such as Canada, China, and India. AT&T is also lowering the per-minute rate for voice calls to other countries, and is offering a $5 add-on to GoPhone plans that includes 250 international voice minutes. The new plans and rates go into effect April 12.
Boost Mobile Offering Unlimited Calls to Mexico for $5
Boost Mobile today introduced a new add-on for its service plans that provides unlimited calling to landlines and mobile phones in Mexico. The Todo Mexico plan costs $5 per month and can be added to Boost's $45 and $55 Data Boost plans.
Cricket Dials In Unlimited Calling to Canada
Cricket Wireless today upgraded its $50 and $60 monthly plans to include unlimited international calling and messaging to Canada. Customers won't have to take any steps to activate the feature, Cricket is doing so automatically for all new and existing subscribers.
Sprint Offering Free Calls to Mexico Through 2015
Sprint today announced a new promotion that provides new customers with 500 free minutes of calling to Mexico and eight other countries through 2015. The promotion, which is limited to new lines of service, includes calling to Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, and Spain.
Virgin Mobile Adjusts Pricing, Intros $20 No-Data Option
Virgin Mobile USA today made some changes to its service plans. To start, the company added a new, low-cost plan for $20 per month.
$10.00 for 1000 minutes = 0.01 cents per minute.
$5.00 for 250 minutes = 0.02 cents per minute.
$10.00 for International Talk & Text = 0.00 Cents per minute to Mexico. Unlimited calling.
