Microsoft today announced that Pandora, the music-streaming service, is available to Windows Phone devices for the first time. The app, which can be downloaded from the Windows Phone Store beginning today, has several features not available to other platforms. First, Pandora for Windows Phone will provide an ad-free listening experience until the end of 2013. This is typically reserved only for paying subscribers. Further, the app takes advantage of Windows Phone 8, and has an adjustable Live Tile that shows the current track. The app is also fully functional within Kids Corner, so it can be used for entertainment while protecting parents' data on the device. Pandora for Windows Phone integrates fully with the web version, and can be downloaded for free.
