Republic Wireless Intros Wi-Fi Finding and Testing App
Republic Wireless today announced the availability of the Republic Wireless Wi-Fi+ application. The app is meant to serve as a tool to help Republic Wireless customers test the connection quality and automatically log into millions of Wi-Fi hotspots with no authentication or other steps required of the customer. In addition to the network testing and login features, the app also helps Republic customers monitor how much Wi-Fi they use versus cellular data each month.The app is free to download from the Google Play Store.
Republic Wireless Improves Android Lineup
Republic Wireless today said it has added nine modern smartphones to its lineup of Android devices. The new phones include the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge ($799), S7 ($699), J3 ($179), and S6 ($549); the Nexus 6P ($499) and 5X ($349); and the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition ($349), G4 ($199), and G4 Plus ($299).

Republic Wireless Debuts Bonding Calling to Improve Quality
Republic Wireless today said it is launching a new technology called Bonded Calling in order to boost the quality voice calls. Republic is a WiFi-first carrier in that customers most often connect via WiFi for calls and data and fall back to cellular when WiFi is not available.
