Twitter Once Again Updates Android and iOS Apps

Twitter today announced yet more changes en route to the Android and iOS applications, as well as the mobile version of Twitter.com. According to Twitter, all three will see improved search results, with top tweets called out separately to give them more prominence. Twitter for the iPhone and iPad gain several more features, including better visibility of the original tweet associated with web links, and better hashtag and username autocomplete when composing tweets. Twitter for Android and iOS can be downloaded from their respective app stores.

Pretty interesting

Pretty interesting. They're shutting down every other service on the planet that uses their API, they're doing a garden-wall off their API and then updating their app to make it better. Sounds disastrous but then, hey, it works!
