Sprint Says Windows Phone 'Coming Soon'

Sprint recently indicated via its support web site that Windows Phone 8 devices are coming soon. Sprint had previously taken a non-committal stance toward Windows Phone. Sprint didn't provide any more details about the devices or the timing of the launch.

I agree, but "coming soon" is ominous and foreboding.

WiMAX was "coming soon" to new markets. 😁
T-Mobile's LTE network is "Coming soon". 🙂

To late. I changed carriers yesterday.

As always. Sprint was/is late to the game. I have been using an HTC "Arrive" Windows 7.5 phone on Sprint for the last two or more years. Best phone I ever had. Windows Phone 8 arrived to the market place three months ago with some high end phones. All reviews were over the top. It was time to stay up to date with the new operating system and upgrade to a better phone. After months of contacting, emailing and talking, the best I knew was that Sprint "no longer supports Windows phone" but may reconsider in 2013. I was also repeatedly told that "we have some of the best Android phones available". Certainly not a good answer for a 14 year Sprint customer with six devices on the account. I've been loyal, supportive and patient. But no more. Yeste...
