Cingular will help artists debut new songs via ringtones. Sounds launched today with Coldplay's new single "Speed of Sound," from their new album due out in June. Although this is a US first, bands and record labels in Europe and Asia have released songs, and even whole albums, as ringtones before they were available for purchase.
