Clear Talk Latest to Pick from Verizon's 700MHz Spectrum Tree
Verizon Wireless today announced that Clear Talk has agreed to purchase a handful of its Lower B Block 700MHz spectrum licenses. Clear Talk will acquire 10 licenses that cover five markets in Texas, plus others in Maryland, Georgia, Florida, Nevada, and New Mexico. According to Verizon, the licenses cover 2.1 million POPs. Terms of the transaction were not provided, and it is subject to regulatory approval.

T-Mobile has filed a petition with the FCC in an attempt to prevent AT&T from purchasing select 700 MHz spectrum licenses. AT&T filed a request to transfer the licenses, which cover portions of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, last month.
