Research In Motion CEO Thorsten Heins today said that the first wave of devices running BlackBerry 10 will reach carrier certification labs in October. BlackBerry 10, the company's new smartphone platform, is on schedule for an early 2013 launch. The company has touchscreen-only and QWERTY-equipped devices in the works, and says that it has several carriers lined up to support BB10 at launch.
