Samsung to Add Apple iPhone 5 to Patent Lawsuit
Sep 20, 2012, 7:08 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Samsung today indicated through a court filing that it plans to target the Apple iPhone 5 with patent litigation. "Samsung anticipates that it will file, in the near future, a motion to amend its infringement contentions to add the iPhone 5 as an accused product," the company said. The iPhone 5 goes on sale this week. Apple and Samsung have a number of patent lawsuits that are either in-progress or pending. Samsung is already targeting Apple's iPhone 4 and 4S.
