DropBox Gets Social, Adds Facebook and Twitter Sharing
DropBox today offered an update to its iOS application that makes file-sharing even easier. DropBox version 1.5.5 adds the ability to share files directly to Twitter and Facebook. DropBox also adds support for Apple's AirPrint technology, and adds support for the Korean language. The updated version of DropBox is a free download from the App Store.

Dropbox has integrated its own service into Facebook's Messenger app, allowing people to share files from Dropbox to friends and family through Messenger. The integration requires senders to have both the Dropbox and Messenger apps installed on their phone.
DropBox Lets iOS Users Create Word Docs On the Fly
DropBox today provided an update to its iOS application that lets users create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files from within the DropBox app even if the separate Office apps aren't installed. DropBox says users can create, edit, and share Office documents in the iOS app and then access them from other devices or from the web.
Facebook Messenger Adds Video Clip Feature
Facebook has pushed out an update to its Messenger application for both Android and iOS and added several new features. The most significant new feature is the ability to record and send 15-second video clips to other Facebook users from within the app itself.
Facebook Messenger for Android Updated to Match iPhone
Facebook has updated the Android version of its Messenger application with the same new features given to the iPhone version earlier this week. Facebook Messenger for Android is now able to send videos directly from the camera roll, and will instantly playback videos received in conversation threads.
