DropBox Gets Social, Adds Facebook and Twitter Sharing
DropBox today offered an update to its iOS application that makes file-sharing even easier. DropBox version 1.5.5 adds the ability to share files directly to Twitter and Facebook. DropBox also adds support for Apple's AirPrint technology, and adds support for the Korean language. The updated version of DropBox is a free download from the App Store.

Dropbox has integrated its own service into Facebook's Messenger app, allowing people to share files from Dropbox to friends and family through Messenger. The integration requires senders to have both the Dropbox and Messenger apps installed on their phone.

DropBox today provided an update to its iOS application that lets users create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files from within the DropBox app even if the separate Office apps aren't installed. DropBox says users can create, edit, and share Office documents in the iOS app and then access them from other devices or from the web.

Verizon Wireless updated its go90 mobile video app this week, making it possible to push content from the iPhone to TVs via Apple TV and Chromecast. Verizon says the app has a new design with simplified navigation, and now more visibly curates video content based on category, such as action, comedy, drama, or reality.
