Consumer Cellular Intros the Huawei 8652

Consumer Cellular today announced the addition of the Huawei 8652 to its lineup of Android smartphones. The 8652, which is sold by AT&T as the Fusion, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a 3.5-inch display with 320 x 480 pixels, and is powered by a 600MHz processor. It includes a 3.2-megapixel camera with video capture; microSD support up to 32GB; and 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, and Wi-Fi/GPS. The Fusion sells for $100 and does not require a contract.

Wow.

Consumer Cellular had better have damn good plans to justify 320*480 screen and a 600 mhz processor on Android these days, especially with some of the stellar options other companies are putting out on prepaid.
Consumer Cellular is a company that targets senior citizens who want a 'simple' phone....so it is safe to assume that their clientele don't want or need a top of the line phone....and Consumer Cellular is not a pre-paid service, they have monthly bill...
