Cricket?

Is this a sign of desperation by Apple? 😲 They must really be worried about competition from Android.
Doubt that's it. Ever since it hit Sprint, they've been going to pre-paid carriers. They said years ago they were planning on doing this.
They are in the business of SELLING phones duh, sell as many as you can!

I would think MetroPCS would be a better carrier

If Apple is going to sell through a low-cost carrier, MetroPCS would be the best option. At least they have a 4G LTE network (and unlimited data- like Apple would prefer).

*chirp *chirp

That's the sound of all the customers rushing to buy an iPhone 5 on a 3G regional carrier...
So Cricket does not have 4G LTE? Umm whats the point of an Iphone 5 just stick to 4S.
