Updated: added details about Coolpad

MetroPCS today announced the Quattro 4G, a brand new smartphone made by new hardware partner Coolpad Americas. The Quattro 4G runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and includes a 4-inch display, 1GHz processor, a 3.2-megapixel main camera and a VGA user-facing camera. The Quattro 4G is compatible with MetroPCS's LTE 4G network and costs $149.99. It is available online and in stores starting today. Coolpad Americas is a subsidiary of YuLong Computer Communications, which makes Coolpad-branded smartphones for the Chinese market. The Quattro is its first device for MetroPCS. Also, for a limited time MetroPCS is offering a $50 mail-in rebate on the second of any LTE 4G device purchased.

Dealt with YuLong Products

In the few times I have used their products, never had any real issues. Fairly inexpensive, worked fine on the local network. Though the phones I used all had Windows CE or brew on them. Never used and Android one.
