C Spire Wireless today announced the availability of Scout 3.0, its third-generation app recommendation tool for Android and iOS devices. Previous versions of Scout provided suggestions to C Spire Wireless customers about which applications they might enjoy. The new version of Scout now makes movie, book, and music recommendations that can be downloaded from iTunes, Amazon, and other content stores. C Spire says the recommendations are unique to each user, based on their user profile. The application and service are free to use.
C Spire Boosts WiFi Hotspot Access for iPhones
C Spire Wireless today expanded its WiFi On service to iOS devices, allowing its iPhone customers to more easily connect to some 20 million WiFi hotspots around the country. The WiFi On app is already available to Android handsets.
