Facebook today announced that its App Center, first revealed last month, is now live and available to Android and iOS mobile devices and via its mobile web site. The App Center is a place where developers can showcase their mobile applications. All canvas, mobile, and web apps can be listed in the App Center, which Facebook hopes will become a central location for mobile device users to seek out and download mobile applications. Users can browse apps that are compatible with their device, and if a mobile app requires installation, they will be sent to download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Developers can create detailed informational pages about their apps. Mobile device users can preview applications before downloading and installing them. Facebook said that there are more than 600 applications available at launch.

Really?

How do you not include Windows Phone? Their market place app numbers have increased substantially and I would think that since MS is such a large investor in Facebook and their phones have such a deep integration, that would have been a no brainer. But, I guess not. Just wow.
