Assurance Wireless Adds Text Plans

Assurance Wireless today announced two new text messaging plans that are available to customers of its free and $5 monthly cellular plans. Eligible customers who have the free 250 minute voice plan will now be able to send 250 text messages per month for free, too. Customers who subscribe to the $5 plan that provides 500 minutes per month will be able to send up to 500 text messages per month. Assurance Wireless customers will still have the option of 1,000 voice minutes and 1,000 text messages for $20 per month.
