U.S. Cellular has started selling the Pantech Verse, their version of Pantech's Jest 2 for Verizon. The compact feature phone sports a landscape display and vertical sliding four-row QWERTY text keyboard. The phones's features are basic, including a 2-megapixel camera and a memory card slot. T-Mobile Starts Selling ZTE ZMax Pro
T-Mobile today began selling the ZTE ZMax Pro — an affordable Android phablet with a 6-inch, full-HD screen, fingerprint reader, 32 GB of storage, 13-megapixel camera, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor — for $180. The company started selling the phone under the MetroPCS brand in August, but is now bringing it to the T-Mobile lineup.
Consumer Cellular Adds Moto G4 and G4 Play to Its Device Roster
Consumer Cellular today added the Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play to its lineup of Android handsets. Consumer Cellular is selling the G4 for $150 and the G4 Play for $100.
Verizon Debuts LG Transpyre
Verizon today added the LG Transpyre to its prepaid lineup. This basic Android phone is essentially the same phone as the LG Tribute offered by Virgin Mobile, except with more memory and a better front camera.
Verizon Now Selling Kyocera's DuraXV Handset
Verizon Wireless recently added the Kyocera DuraXV to its lineup of rugged handsets. The DuraXV, a successor to Kyocera's DuraXT, is a flip phone that meets mil-spec standards for protection against temperature extremes, dust, and shock.
