Motorola Completing Reorganization

Motorola today announced it would complete a set of business unit reorganizations on January 1, 2005. Divisions will now be organized around a set of core products, allowing each division to take advantage of economies of scale by handling all those products for the company. Production of all mobile phones and phone centric devices will now be the responsibility of the Personal Devices Division. Motorola intends for this to unify the Motorola phone experience across all products as well as streamline their production.
