AT&T Adds Salt Lake City to List of LTE Cities
AT&T announced that residents of Salt Lake City can expect to have access to its LTE 4G service later this year. The company launched its first LTE markets in late 2011 and has been slowly expanding its LTE footprint to markets around the U.S., most recently to Akron and Canton, Ohio, and Lafayette, Ind. AT&T's LTE network is available in approximately 38 markets.

Sprint today expanded its Direct 2 You service to 34 new metropolitan areas around the country. The additions include: Indianapolis, Ind.; Lexington and Bowling Green, Ky.; New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette, La.; Las Vegas, Henderson, Paradise, and Spring Valley, Nev.; Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham, Winston-Salem, Fayetteville, and Asheville, N.C.; Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Akron, Canton, and Dayton, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Nashville, Clarksville, Franklin, and Jackson, Tenn.; and Salt Lake City, Ogden, Sandy, Layton, Provo, and Park City, Utah.
YouTube TV Jumps to Another 14 Markets
Google today said its YouTube TV streaming video service is expanding to 14 new markets this week, with another 17 to follow in the weeks ahead. The new markets going live today include: Baltimore, Boston, Cincinnati, Columbus, Jacksonville-Brunswick, Las Vegas, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, Seattle-Tacoma, Tampa-St.
Sprint Doubles LTE Plus Footprint
Sprint today said it has doubled the availability of its LTE Plus coverage from 77 markets in November to more than 150 markets today. Some of the new markets include Boulder, Colo., West Palm Beach, Fla., Cleveland, Ohio, and Syracuse, N.Y.
