Samsung's ChatON Now Available to BlackBerries
Samsung has made its ChatON cross-platform messaging service available to BlackBerry smartphones via BlackBerry App World. The application, which is already available to the Bada, Android, and iOS platforms, lets users send text, picture, and video messages to other ChatON users via the data network. Samsung said it still plans to offer ChatON to Windows Phone, but hasn't provided a timeline for its release.
BBM Gains PayPal for Android, BlackBerry, iOS
BlackBerry today added a handful of new features to its cross-platform messaging service. All versions of BBM (Android, BlackBerry, iOS) earn the ability to send money to BBM contacts using PayPal.

PayPal has made a version of its mobile application available in the BlackBerry World app store for devices running BlackBerry OS 10.x. With this new app, PayPal is available to Android, BlackBerry, Fire OS, iOS, and Windows smartphones.
BlackBerry Makes BBM Privacy Features Free
BBM users now have more control over their messages thanks to an update BlackBerry made available to Android, BlackBerry, and iOS devices. All three platforms now have unlimited use of the Retract and Timer features.
Samsung's ChatON to Send Final Message in March
Samsung plans to shutter its ChatON messaging application early next year. The service will go dark in international markets on Feb.
Samsung to Pour Milk Video Down the Drain Nov. 20
Samsung today indicated via the Google Play Store that it will discontinue its Milk Video app and service for Android smartphones. "While we remain committed to providing premium entertainment services, we have decided to end support for the Samsung Milk Video app as of November 20, 2015," said Samsung.
