Sprint Offering Norton Mobile Security Lite for Free
Sprint today announced that its customers with Android-based smartphones can download and use Norton's Mobile Security Lite application for free. The application lets users remotely lock their lost/stolen device via the internet or SMS; scans file and app downloads for malware threats; and automatically downloads and installs security updates. The full version of the application and service, which costs $29.99 for one year, adds a number of features such as remote lock, remote wipe, and locate.
