Twitter for BlackBerry Adds BBM Integration
Twitter today released a new version of its mobile application for RIM's BlackBerry platform. Twitter 3.0 for BlackBerry adds one crucial element: integration with RIM's BlackBerry Messenger service. According to Twitter, BBM integration allows users to share their latest Tweet as a BBM message, as well as access their contacts' Twitter accounts from their BBM profiles. Other features include the ability to share web links directly from the browser and upload photos to Twitter directly from the BlackBerry camera application. BlackBerry Bringing BBM to Android Wear
BlackBerry today showed off BBM for Android Wear. With BBM on your wrist, Android Wear owners will be able to read incoming BBM messages, review and accept BBM invites, scan through the BBM inbox, and respond with either canned messages or dictated messages via Google Now.
BBM Arrives as Beta for Windows Phone
BlackBerry today followed up on its promise from earlier this year and released a beta version of BlackBerry Messenger for the Windows Phone platform. The app covers the BBM basics, which means it can be used to chat with individuals or groups, as well as share pictures, voice notes, contacts, and location.
