Sprint Likes the Sound of the ZTE Fury, Lands March 11

Sprint today announced the ZTE Fury, a new Android smartphone that hits Sprint stores March 11 for $19.99. Sprint is pitching the device as an ideal phone for parents to give to children. The Fury runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes with Sprint ID on board for custom theme and app packs. Other features include a 3.5-inch display; 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and video capture; a 1GHz Snapdragon processor; 4GB of internal storage and support for microSD cards up to 32GB; and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi, and 3G hotspot. The device includes GPS, which Sprint points out will work with services such as Sprint's Family Locator, Sprint Drive Fast, and others. The $19.99 price reflects the final cost after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year commitment.
