Motorola Adds New Java to i.250 Platform

Motorola today launched i.JV30, the latest embedded Java virtual machine for the company's i.250 Innovative Convergence platform for 2.5G mobile devices. i.JV30 features the latest Java APIs, including the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) 2.0, Connected Limited Device Configuration (CLDC) 1.0, Wireless Messaging APIs (JSR-120) and the Mobile Media APIs (JSR-135). The solution will be demonstrated next week during the JavaOne Conference in San Francisco.
