First GAIT Phone Announced

Nokia today announced the Nokia 6340, the world's first GAIT phone. GAIT phones include both GSM and TDMA technology, and permit seamless roaming between the two types of networks. The 6340 also includes a built-in "electronic wallet" for mobile transactions, using the ECML standard. Rounding out the list of innovative features is an audio equalizer.
