PalmSource Ships New Web Browser

PalmSource, provider of the Palm OS® handheld operating syytem, today announced that it has shipped the PalmSource Web Browser to Palm OS licensees. The software is based on ACCESS' Netfront™ v3.0 browser. The browser renders web pages in their entirety just as they would be on the desktop, but also gives users the ability to disable images and JavaScript to improve download time on slower connections. The browser supports Internet standards, such as HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0, Dynamic HTML, cHTML, CSS, and JavaScript 1.5.
