AT&T Re-Brands Former TeleCorp Markets

(updated) AT&T Wireless this week expands into 14 more states in a re-branding of recently acquired TeleCorp PCS markets, which previously operated under the SunCom brand. The carrier now offers its services in new areas in the Southeast and Midwest. AT&T closed its $4.7 billion purchase of TeleCorp in February. AT&T Wireless will be introducing GSM/GPRS services in the newly acquired markets beginning next year.
