Nicely Pocketable Phone
The main attraction of this phone is the Tracfone service it goes with and double minutes for the life of the phone. Not that it's a bad phone at all. The RF performance is a bit weak but audio performance is exceptional. The case has a nice rubberized feel to it and the form factor is perfect for pocket carry. The VGA camera is, as usual, only marginally useful but the user interface is simple and intuitive. The ...

As Good As A Basic Phone Needs To Be.
I really can't find fault with this phone. It IS basic with no camera, etc. but that's just as well considering how poor the vast majority of cell phone cameras are! I still don't get the big deal with bluetooth--so what if you have one thin audio cord? As for doing the things that really count, like having a nice clear display and good audio performance its perfectly fine in a nice elegant package to boot. Just be sure ...

The Ultimate in Basic Phones
I've been using this phone for about 4 months and the only thing I would change about it is the silly startup message: "Be Safe-Be Courteous". Apparently, perhaps due to the relatively low cost, Cingular seems to be targeting parents who will buy this phone for their kids. At any rate, there is nothing else to complain about. Battery life is phenominal but it helps to run the phone through a few charge/discharge cycles before full capacity is realized. The ...

Excellent Basic Phone
Nothing outstanding here but no real shortcomings either just a solid basic phone. Very good voice quality and reception. Typical VGA camera--marginally useful but could be worthwhile in recording a crime in progress. Best feature is probably nice sleek form factor and easy to use key layout with five way toggle switch. Cingular Go Phone service easy to use; 25 cents per minute--period. Good coverage and call quality.

So Cool and Yet......
This phone is a real heartbreaker. It is so nice in so many ways but it's CDMA and it's stuck with the feeble Sprint network. So many cool features including a front mounted LED that changes from red to blue when charged and blinks to indicate missed calls, etc. This could be a super popular phone if it weren't for Sprint. They have the worse coverage of any carrier; very spotty in rural areas!

Seems to be a good phone.
So far I'm fairly impressed with this little phone. Very good range and voice quality. Small screen but it's big enough to display all relevant info. Sturdy construction and good key feel. Maybe I'm too easily satisfied but I grew up with mechanical typewriters, slide rules, and unsanitary pay phones. To me the entire cell phone network (along with the associated phones) is a marvelous thing in spite of the glitches!
