for the Nokia E71 / E71x:Nokia E71
This phone is awesome. There are a ton of reviews out there so I'll be brief. Everything you have heard is true. Great call quality, great features, unbelievable build quality. Keyboard is flawless too. GPS is amazing, got a fix in seconds and was accurate to within about 20 feet. If you like S60, you will love this phone. I realize this review isn't terribly specific but I'm going to back to playing with my phone. Worth every penny!

for the Nokia E65:great smartphone, doesn't sacrifice on the phone part either.
I'm coming from a Blackjack and before that an LG CU500. I'm on Cingular. The LG was a great PHONE but once I saw waht the Blackjack could do (real web pages, all my email, etc.) I was hooked on smartphones. for the Samsung SGH-C417 / C416:Solid but a little quirky
For $80 this is quite an nice phone. The build quality is outstanding, reception is solid (Cingular in NYC) and call quality clear and plenty loud. The VGA camera is perfectly adequate for pic messages and wallpapers. The quirks are common to Samsung's UI. With a little practice I can navigate the menus pretty fast but the lack of customization features is dissapointing (coming from a Motorola V190 where everything can be changed to suit me).
