for the Samsung Smooth / Glint SCH-U350:Will never recommend...
This device should never be gotten for a man. I got it for my dad who cannot use the keypad due to the small size of the buttons. He also hates the fact that there is no setting to change it so that if you press a side button, the front display lights up to show him the time. He absolutely hates it and we will be returning it asap!

for the Samsung SGH-T209 / X495 / X497 / X496:VOLUME BUTTON
I work for Cingular Wireless and every X497 that I have ever sold has come back with more complaints about the volume button than any other phone that I know of. The button on on the left side of the phone that indicates volume is accessed too easily so that whenever a customer drops it into her purse or into his pocket the volume button goes up or down.
