for the Motorola i365 / i365IS:
Can go places your iPhone can't and live to tell about it
Make no mistake, the i365 is a true INDUSTRIAL tool meant for BUSINESS, not some plastic fragile tech toy like an iPhone that would not survive a day on a construction site or riding on an ambulance. No, it doesn't have an MP3 player, camera or any frills. It is designed to go to work, and work all day, not play. If you want a rugged, top performing industrial iDEN unit look further. It's basically an updated i325 with Bluetooth, ...

for the Kyocera Oystr KX9d / KX9e:
Very good basic no-frills phone
It's a 20 dollar phone, if you are expecting a 3MP camera, MP3 player, etc this is not your choice. If you want a good basic phone to make and receive calls, you cannot go wrong, especially considering this phone sells for less than half of what it costs to fill the average gas tank (how sad!). I have had my Oystr for two weeks and am very happy with it. I don't use a phone for anything but making ...

for the Samsung SGH-T209 / X495 / X497 / X496:
decent though not stellar phone
I got this as a replacement for a failed v188 from T-Mobile in June of this year and lived with it until September when a v195 replaced it. First off, it wasn't a bad phone, just not a very good one. The menu system is lacking, and almost difficult. The biggest gripe is setting the volume as others have pointed out. RF is nowhere near as good as the v188 and my v195 will get a signal where the Samsung ...

for the Motorola V195 / V197:
Excellent no-frills GSM quad-bander
Motorola did this one right. If you're looking for a good basic phone with Bluetooth, look no further. I've had mine since September when I got it for free from T-Mobile as an upgrade and it has proven to be one of the best GSM phones I've even owned. The build quality is excellent, the RF performance is up there with Nokia "classics" like the 6010/3595. Battery life is where this one excels, even with 2 hour a day ...

for the Motorola v60i (GSM) / v60gi:
They don't make them like this anymore
While I like my Razr and V188, there is no comparison to the build quality and performance of this legend. The plastic junk of today reflects the throwaway metality of the industry. The v60g was the last of the "5 year" life phones. No camera, no MP3 player, no color screen, no polyphonic ringers. Just plain quality, it makes and recieves phone calls and does it well. The battery life is incredible, and the RF is about as ...

for the Motorola V260 / V262:
Excellent performer for Metro PCS
I have owned this since October of 2005 when it was released for Metro PCS. Overall it has been excellent, with over 422 hours of talking logged on the timer, I can say it has been a superb phone. RF is exceptional, on par with say, the Nokia 3587i. Sound quality on both the caller and outgoing is phenominal. Plenty of volume in the earpiece or the headset jack. The speakerphone is clear, and the DSP is good (no ...
