for the LG VX-8700:A very slick phone from LG
I've had this phone for a couple of weeks, and it is a very slick phone. It has excellent reception and is very stylish. I've received a lot of compliments on it as well. The only two cons I have are the micro SD slot under the battery and the flimsy door covering the charging port. for the LG VX-8300:Solid phone
Last year I bought the Lg VX8100. It was a good phone that got better with each software update. I originally was not going to get the VX8300 for two reasons. 1) The 8100 was so good 2) I wanted to see something more advanced than the 8300 (internal antenna, latest version of bluetooth, 2.0 mp camera, etc...). for the LG VX-8100:Nice phone, but in need of a software update
I've been playing around with the Lg vx8100 for a week now, and so far I like what I see. However there are some problems with this phone that need to be addressed by Lg and Verizon. for the Motorola V551 / V330 / V547 / V555 / V557:Stay away from Motorolas
I switched from AT@T to Cingular, and I decided to get the Motorola V551. I had the V505 with AT@T and it was the best phone I ever had. I bought the V505 with great reluctance b/c I had a v600 before and it was really terrible. However it seemed with the V505 that Motorola had gotten its act together. I was wrong.......I have had two Motorola V551 phones and both have had bad reception. All the other stuff works ...

for the Motorola V500 / V525 / V505:Motorola got it right with this one.
