for the UTStarcom PPC-6700 / XV-6700 / HTC Apache:
Awesome device
**(Verizon VX-6700)** I have to say that I totally love this thing. For years, I have been using a very powerful PDA that was full of features, including a 1.3mp camera with light/flash. The only thing this PDA lacked was a phone, which I had to carry around separately. Operating system: Windows Mobile 5. Somewhat odd after using Palm OS, but very easy to get used to and just as good, if not better. Sound/speaker: Small speaker underneath camera mirror on ...

for the LG VX-8500 Chocolate:
What's everyone complaining about?!
I just got this phone today and it is a wonderful little device. A lot of people whine about the touch sensitivity. It does take a certain 'touch', and is certainly not good for clumsy people or people with poor finger dexterity. But it's safe to say that if you can use a 'skating rink' laptop mouse, you can use this. Owners of this phone might also want to take note that you can choose from four ...

for the Sony Ericsson Z520 / Z525:
VERY good phone
I had gone through several Cingular flip phones, including the LG C1500 (cute, but weak), the Samsung X497 (boring and requires superhuman hearing), the Motorola RAZR V3 (really good intentions, very attractive design, but too many flaws), and the Nokia 6102 (REALLY cool phone), but the Sony Ericsson z520a is by far the best that Cingular has to offer, in my humble opinion. The interface is rather different from most other mobile phone manufacturers...there is no 'send' button, nor is ...

for the Motorola RAZR V3:
pretty good...
I was growing tired of Sprint's crappy service, and when I saw Cingular advertising the black RAZR in my area for 99 bucks, I decided that that was a good enough reason to just switch altogether to Cingular. I have mixed feelings about the switch, and about the RAZR. It is every bit as stylish as it looks on the commercials, especially in its black version (available only from Cingular). I'll itemize my pros, cons, and others: PROS ---- -high quality/stable ...

for the Sanyo MM-8300:
Nice phone for everyone but the phone geek
This is really a nice phone. This phone has tons of features that will please about 90% of users. But to all those people crabbing about no Bluetooth and no infrared port, IT'S SPRINT! I have never seen infrared on any Sprint phone other than PDA phones, and Bluetooth is available on a very small number of phones. To expect it because of how much you paid is logical elsewhere, but not in the magic ...

for the Samsung MM-A880:
Very nice phone
This is a very new (as of October `05) phone from Sprint which I recently purchased; so new that the extended battery and plastic holster aren't yet released GRRRR. It is a wonderful little phone! I did all my research online, since the people in the Radio Shack from which I bought knew next to nothing about it. All along the way, I was comparing this phone with the Sanyo 8300, and was much more in ...
