for the Audiovox CDM-8450 / CDM-8455 / VI600:UGH!!!
Repair repair repair.......I have sold this unit for a Canadian telcom provider. I actually tried not too SELL IT. Voice quality is weak and reception ok.

for the Motorola i830 / i833 / i835 / i836:not bad.....
I am currently using the I830. The battery life with the extended is decent, about 2 too 3 days before recharge. Reception is good in the Toronto, phone doesn't get warm after a lengthy conversation about 40 min. The buttons are ok, although i suspect winter and cold fingers might make use of key pad a little difficult. Generally after all the bad press I have heard, this phone has been a overall pleasant experience.

for the LG L1400 / C1400:solid phone
The Reception is very good in areas that I had trouble with some other GSM phones my LG 1400 pulls in a signal where others couldn't. Voice quality, incoming was clear easy too listen too, Out going is alittle on the crude side but still good. The phone has a beautifull screen, ok camera( I don't buy Phones for pictures). Nice large key pad. My main concern is battery life it seems too be a bit erratic. ...

for the Motorola i560:Nice\\Battery life??
So far the I560 on the Mike Network in Canada, has proven to be a solid performer. Good reception, nice incomming sound.The out going voice seems to be clear I dont seem to be getting any complaints about tinny or shoddy sound reproduction. The phone feels solid as well. Easy too use key pads not tough on the fingers. My only concern may be battery life, so far not great. But My phone has only been ...
