for the Sony Ericsson Z300:This phone doesn't deserve a bad rep.
If you are looking for a phone that takes pictures and video, avoid this phone. If you are needing bluetooth, PCsync or MP3 ringtones, avoid this phone. for the Motorola V180 / V186 / V188:Don't Believe the negative reviews!
Not everyone has had the problems mentioned. A lot of the comments about how poor the reception is are based upon the service provider and the area in which the phone is used. NOT THE PHONE ITSELF! All in all this is a great piece if you like the motorola flip style phones. If you set this phone up with Cingular your coverage should be fine. The features are good and the phone looks awesome. for the Samsung SGH-C207:GREAT STARTER PHONE & WELL WORTH IT!!
This phone has everything you need if you have no personal preference. This phone is being offered free of charge with cingular wireless (with pre-approval promotion) and it's definitely worth it. It has a nice color screen, vibrate, several ringtones, phonebook, calculator, alarm clock, call log and games. It has a high resolution color display which is much clearer than the free nokia phone. ARE YOU LOOKING FOR AN ENTRY LEVEL PHONE AND DON'T WANT TO SPEND TOO MUCH? ...

for the Motorola V400:EARPIECE VOLUME IS TOO LOW!!!!!!
The only complaint I have with this phone is that you cannot hear the person on the other end. The earpiece volume is horrible compared to any other phone I have come into contact with. Everyone else seems to make the same comments so it's not just my phone specifically. I'm tired of asking people to speak up or repeat what they just said! Overall, I like the phone but I will never purchase a phone with this problem ...
