for the Apple iPhone 4S:
Nice phone
I'm seeing ads on TV about how people are getting off the iPhone bandwagon. Not standing in line for a phone, settling for the newest Droid device. But has anyone ever wondered why there are lines to buy iPhones? I do not see people forming lines for the latest offerings from other smart phone manufacturers. Why? Because Apple offers a device with solid features, amazing innovations, and just making cool devices. Sure Droid based devices sell more than iPhones. ...

for the Nokia 5230 Nuron:
First smart phone-Nokia Nuron. Nice!
I had no intention of buying a smart phone, when I tossed my Motorola Renew into the trash. My goal was to simply get a newer, more reliable device. What I got was a great device, that may be smarter than the user. After one month of ownership I still find the ease of which this device operates, and the logic of the Symbian OS amazing. I find new tricks/shortcuts all the time. While the OVI Store is smaller ...

for the Nokia 2720:
Nokia 2720. Decent phone, decent price.
I bought this phone 4 weeks ago, even before T-Mobile listed it on their website. While I am not a flip phone fan, this is a nice phone. Clear display, loud ringers, large keypad make it easy to use. The earpiece could be a tad louder, but for most situations its good enough. The battery could live a longer between charges, but I like to text, which may consume charge faster. My phone came ...

for the Samsung SGH-R225 / SGH-R225M:
Samsung R225M...still solid years later...
I was looking for a solid basic bar style phone, and found one used, but in very nice condition. At $10.00 I had to buy it, and I am so happy I did. This was the device I had when I first became a T-Mobile customer over 5 yrs. ago. Feels like I reunited with a lost friend. It grabs a signal better than the Motorola Renew I have, the earpiece is clearer, and its ...

for the Nokia 1661:
Nokia 1661 Rubbish
All I need is a basic, cheap phone. What I got was basic, cheap ($18.00), and junk. It stopped working 3 hours after I took it out of the package. Absolutely no signal in my house. Other phones (even other Nokia phones) get enough signal to operate in my home. Not this one. Nokia has really dropped the ball on this device. It is being returned to place of purchase. PROS: Nice screen. Loud speaker/ringers. CONS: Garbage ...

for the Motorola W233 Renew:
Motorola W233 Renew - great for dropped calls
I originally bought this phone to replace a Nokia 1208 because friends of mine swear by Motorola's devices. But in every case, when I have tried their products, I am less than impressed by the performance of the phone. The Renew is not the most expensive phone out there, nor is it the cheapest (I paid $30.00). Things went wrong when it did not find the SD Micro memory card. Then it started dropping calls. ...

for the Nokia 1208:
Nokia 1208 - Good basic phone.
This is a cheap replacement phone for a cheap phone. As a communications device, it actually has more useful phone features than the Nokia 2610 it replaced. Sure the screen is low resolution, but the numbers are easier to see, it has a louder speaker, and its easy to use. The reason for a "4" was the short battery life. I need a phone, not a phone-camera-PDA-music player. I have an iPod Touch for the PDA, ...

for the Samsung SGH-T429:
Samsung T429 - could be better.
This phone was purchased to replace a dead Nokia. After 3 days of near zero signal, while my standby Nokia had almost full signal, this phone is being returned. I have been a T-Mobile customer over 4 years now, NW PA. I have had other Samsung devices in the past and they performed very well. This was the exception. I really liked the slide action to this device. But, for what I paid for it, ...

for the Nokia 2760:
Nokia 2760
I saw this device in a T-Mobile pre-pay kit, so I thought I'd slip my post-pay SIM in and go on. 5 days later the phone died. Both displays went black. Trying another one this week. PROS: -nice screen -great battery life -decent camera -lightweight CONS: -no side buttons -keypad backlight miserable, can't see keys at certain angles -suspect quality, first device dead in 5 days Overall, not a bad device, but some very un-Nokia things. Hopefully they will fix.

for the Nokia 6126 / 6131 / 6133:
Nice phone depite the small bug...
First, (regarding the 6133), this phone has a known issue regarding the MMS part of the phone. The phone will re-boot itself if any of the MMS settings are changed. Nokia is aware of it, and (according to T-Mobile), working on a fix. Having said that, I find this to be one of the best phones I've owned. The rubberized finish makes it easy to hold and hides fingerprints well. The ringers, while not many, are ...

for the Samsung SGH-T619:
Samsung T619 disaster...
I'm with T-Mobile. The phone gave me problems right out of the box. T-Zones never worked right, couldn't send pics to email or another phone. The construction was not as solid as my T209. And now for the pros and cons... PROS: -Really clear display. -Decent camera (1.3 mp). -Nice large keys. CONS: -Sound quality not great. -Unable to turn off shutter sound for camera? -Way too many steps to wade through just to send a message (text or picture). -Ringers too weird. I wanted ...

for the Nokia 3220:
Nokia 3220, Very decent.
I had this little phone for approximately 10 days. Returned it due to the the 4-way button was too small and I kept hitting the wrong side, or missing the center to get to the menu. But on the whole its a nice phone. Loud ringers. Decent speaker phone. The phone was in a pre-paid kit, but I slipped my own SIM in and used it as a contract phone. This was my first experience ...

for the Nokia 6010:
Changed opinion of Nokia
This is a decent phone. What impressed me is the fact that it performs better than my Samsung x105. It was in a pre-paid package, I just slipped my old SIM inside and it became a contract phone (try THAT Verizon!). PROS: Cheap. Loud ringers. Clear calls. Decent screen (better w/o wallpapers). CONS: Non HiFi ringers (no biggy). Buttons too close together. I tried a Nokia a couiple years ago, and it was awful. But this model has changed my opinion. Got mine at ...

for the Samsung SGH-X105:
Decent little phone...
In my limited experience with cell phones, this one is about the best I've used. Past experiences with Kyocera and Nokia (ugh). Samsung seems to make a solid product. I originally Had an R225, then got a C225. When that phone was lost I got the X105, and prefer it OVER the C225. PROS: Loud ringers. Ringer speaker NOT sheared w/ ear piece. Decent display. Large internal phone book. Nicely lit keypad. Good signal/sound quality. Battery life good. CONS: Sometimes slow (call connection). Phone ...
