for the Samsung SCH-A930:
Very Durable Samsung
Like the previous post, I've been using my A930 since 2006 (November). For the most part, I don't give it a second thought that I'm still using an almost seven year old phone, it's been that reliable and trouble free. Even as old as it is, everything on it still works. The music player, camera, (not the best, even when new), bluetooth function, still work. The phone itself still sends and receives calls without any problem. As long ...

for the Samsung SGH-A117:
Nice Basic Samsung
This is almost the perfect phone if all you want is something to make and receive calls on. There are just enough features like text messaging, speakerphone, ability to download ringtones and some graphics, and full featured phonebook. No camera, or bluetooth, doesn't come with any games. Appears to get fairly good battery life, and seems to hold a signal pretty well. The internal antenna makes for a compact design. Very nice.

Have made call with like one or two bars, especially at work, and no problems making and holding a call signal. Don't know why people freak out if ...

for the Audiovox CDM-9900:
Coulda Been Better
Have always read that Audiovox phones built by Toshiba are always superior to other makers. Well, the 9900 is a good phone, but I wouldn't call it great. For one thing, there are a lot of little things missing in the function of the phone. Such as no vibrate/ring, no phone book security, lack of a snooze feature in the alarm clock. Also it would have been helpful if you were able to lock the phone with ...
