Love everything about it!
I'm a diehard fan of physical QWERTY keyboards. These days, they're hard to come by on high-end phones. Coming from the LG Voyager/EnV lineup, the first smartphone worth jumping ship for, IMO, was the Droid 2, then the Droid 2 Global, and now the Droid 3. The D3 has solved all of my problems with the previous 2 versions and topped it off with a bigger, brighter screen and number row. I've had my D3 for roughly 2 months ...
Near perfect phone, just give it time
After "window shopping" for a smartphone for about a year, I finally found one that justifies the monthly cost of data. I initially thought the original Droid was IT, but after playing with it several times, I couldn't get used to the placement of the d-pad. So I waited and waited, tried other smartphones, but never found the one that "clicked". Then came the Droid 2! The good: - near perfect call & speakerphone quality with exception to some digital ...
Better, sleeker, worthy upgrade from the Voyager
When rumors and specs of the EnV Touch began floating around, I didn't think it was much of an update from the Voyager. However, after spending a considerable amount of time reading consistently good reviews, I decided to bequeath my Titanium Voyager to my little brother and upgrade to the EnV Touch. I'm glad I did, because LG took an already good phone and made it great with improved features in a more refined package. I've had my Touch ...
mixed feelings, but does the job
sadly, i had to get rid of my lg env2 and it's wonderful qwerty keyboard because verizon doesn't have full service in my current location (lake elsinore (SoCal)). so instead of dumping verizon altogether, i decided on a motorola since they've always been able to hold calls where my lg's haven't. after reading rave reviews on the krave's reception, i decided to try it out. i have mixed feelings on the form factor and its functionality, but it does ...
so far so good!
i've had the maroon env2 for 3 weeks, so now's as good a time as any to give my $0.02. this is my first qwerty phone, i've only had flip phones before this but i don't miss the form factor at all. my usage is relegated to calls and light texting only (less than 250 msgs/month). on to the phone's functionality: PROS: -compact size, look, sturdy build, and quality feel. yes, it looks like a calculator on the outside but to ...
Was skeptical at first...but believe in Motorola now
I admitedly don't visit Phonescoop all that often unless I'm about to upgrade to a new handset...and so, as I did 2 years ago, I went online to do my research on my next phone. From the gitgo, I noticed that the V3M didn't receive stellar reviews from most of you and so I didn't think twice about purchasing one...instead I had my heart set on the LG Chocolate or VX8300. But when I actually got to play with ...
Wonderful phone...am loving it so far!
After reading all of the reviews here at phonescoop.com, I made the decision to upgrade to the 9900 using my NE2. Being new to the this site, I can honestly say that I've learned a lot from you guys and would like to thank everyone who gave their honest opinions in the reviews. That aside, the CDM9900 has lived up to all the hype that was given to it and then some. I've only owned the phone for 4 ...
