for the Samsung Galaxy S8+:
Samsung is back in a big bad way, kind of.
So I've been using the S8+ for about 8 weeks now and this phone is a beast. Here's the bad thing about the device: Android Nougat sucks. If you can get past the goofy version of Android however, you're in for a treat. My last Samsung device was the S6 Edge Plus, which was probably the best phone Samsung ever developed. However, in the post Note 7 Apocalypse landscape we now inhabit, the S8+ is about as good as it's going ...

for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ (CDMA):
S6 Edge Plus - A really big and cool device.
So working for a carrier I get to upgrade every few months, this time around I grabbed the s6 edge plus. The good: Inductive charging. This is a big deal for me, not to be that guy, but this is 2015, I'm sick of plugging crap in to get a charge. Inductive charging is a godsend, I get home, toss that sh#% onto a wireless charger, and call it a day. The screen is big and bad as hell! I use ...

for the Motorola Droid Turbo:
Droid Turbo is fantastic.
So I get to demo a lot of devices and I get a little squeamish when it comes to the Moto Droid series, until one day I turned around and realized I'd been using the droid turbo for two months.... This thing is a beast and delivers amazing battery life, durability and functionality. Pros: Turbo comes out of the box with a relatively clean version of Android 4.4.4, aside from the Verizon apps, there's not much BS installed. Battery life is top notch, ...

for the Apple iPhone 5s:
iPhone5S Supercool.
I work for a mobile carrier, and so I have the opportunity to demo new phones as soon as they come out. PROS: The 5S has great build quality of course and a nice bright screen 64 bit native processor is megafast. Siri is SUPER fast and responsive. 120 slow mo feature is a cool, gimmicky, but cool. I almost can't BELIEVE how fast this device is, you open up a webpage or app and it is THERE. Immediately. CONS: While the 4" retina display is crisp ...

for the Samsung Intensity II:
I hate this phone for a variety of reasons. My Samsung Intensity II Story.
My ex girlfriend used this phone for a very long time. She burned her upgrade to get this phone for free basically when it came out new. Even though I had several VZW smartphones sitting around that I was willing to let her use, from an iPhone4 to a Samsung Omnia to a Droid Incredible, she continued to use this POS messaging phone, even though it got horrible reception, questionable bluetooth capabilities and an SD card slot that was ...

for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 (GSM):
Galaxy S4 Review. (At Last)
As I've mentioned in other reviews, I work for a carrier and as such I get to demo varies devices upon their release. The S4 is actually an awesome device. Pros: Snapdragon processor has NO lag time whatsoever. You tap an app or make a gesture and its done. The supe ramoled screen looks brilliant. LTE is megafast on AT&T's network. I've not tried the device on Verizon's network, but I would imagine that its equally fast. Even when using the device on the ...

for the HTC One X:
Not bad, I guess.
I work in AT&T store, and so I switch phones from time to time. So, while I was waiting for my iPhone replacement I decided to go ahead and demo the One X. PROS: Pretty decent screen. Used the phone mainly for Netflix so far, the screen is big and bright! AWESOME. Decently fast HSPA+ (fake 4G) data speeds. I have not used it in an LTE area yet. CONS: OS is bit a cumbersome and lags a bit, but ...

for the Samsung Galaxy S III (AT&T):
Samsung Galaxy SIII, Not a bad phone.
In the past I've had a couple of iPhones, including the 4S and 4, as well as the SII Skyrocket. I have to say that this is a top of the line smart phone that can compete with basically any other device out there. It really just depends on your personal taste. Pros: FAST LTE Data. (On AT&T's network, I've never used Verizon at this point.) The data is even damn fast on AT&T's fake 4G (HSPA+) network. ...
