for the Apple iPhone 3GS:
An ok phone
I bought this phone 9 months ago when I was working at Best Buy. A family brought it in to trade it in for credit and I offered to buy it from them instead. This phone can't be beat for $40! First off, the setup was kind of painful because I spent all night trying to unlock it manually through a jailbreak, but when I got that to "work" I must have done something improperly because although I managed to ...

for the HTC G1:
OG of androids
I got this phone about a year ago. Even though it was old when I got it and even older now, I still love it. It was the first phone I flashed a ROM on to. Regardless, eve with stock software, it runs great. Not as fast as today's androids but still quite capable even today. Screen is great, a little too high with the white balance. Nice bright screen, easily read outdoors. Responsive capacitive touchscreen is nice. ...

for the LG GS170 / 420g:
Very very nice device
I loved this phone for the single month I used it. It has fantastic reception, is very quick and responsive, and is just a nice phone. Call quality is amazing, has a speakerphone which is also great. Great sound quality as well. People said I sounded very clear. Extremely loud ringtones! Text messaging is super quick. I'm used to a texting experience on tracfone where I'll compose a message and then send it, where it will take a few seconds ...

for the Huawei M835:
You get what you pay for
So I bought this phone five months ago and got exactly what I was expecting. The first thing you will notice on powering the phone on is how small the phone's screen is. Not entirely bad as the phone is very tiny regardless. It's really pixelated. Reading text is somewhat difficult. The colors are very nice and the screen gets quite bright, as I am able to easily view the screen outdoors in full sunlight. Reception is TERRIBLE. I have some ...

for the Motorola W376 / W377:
Great prepaid phone
I haven't actually used this phone for about a year, but it was an excellent phone while I had it. Perfect reception. Tracfone is just excellent when it comes to coverage. No problems there. Call quality was crystal clear, all of the time. I can't remember a single time where a call was dropped. SMS was very slow, but still did just fine. Camera wasn't good, but it was responsive-ish, and fulfilled the purpose of "take picture, send to ...
