for the HTC ThunderBolt:
it's okay
I had this phone for such a short period of time. For me, I hated it. I did not have 4G so take that into consideration. The phone is just too big and the battery is way too small. Pro's. Browser is very good. Con's. Battery just flat out sucks and the screen is hard to see in daylight. Software is glitchy.

for the HTC Droid Incredible:
Just Incredible
I have had them all so I will keep this short and to the point. Finally Verizon has something that I can see myself using for quite sometime without getting the itch for something new. The phone is just rediculously fast in everything.

for the Motorola Droid:
Droid is one great phone
The bottom line, this phone has the best browser on the Verizon network by a mile. Wifi works as advertised and the keyboards, pick your liking. You actually get used to the physical board.

for the BlackBerry Tour 9630:
Is Tour all that?
Okay, I have had enough of the kool aid drinkers of the Tour. Yeah, it's ok but it's just that, okay. I think the Curve was a more stable phone. The Tour browser stinks and very hard to see even when zoomed. The keyboard, please folks, it's lousy. I could go on with this but I think you can get an idea of where I am going with this. In summary....nice phone, not great. Worth the ...

for the Palm Pre (CDMA):
My two days with it
Ok, this phone is not that great! The browser is very fast but the screen is too small in my opinion. Texting is a royal pain. My other phone is a Storm and I thought that phone was a pain to type on. The battery is horrible on the Palm. The build quality is just not up to par for the money. Vibrate is weak. I could go on but I am too tired to ...

for the BlackBerry Storm 9530:
Here we go again
As I write this, I ask myself why? Anyways, I'll start with this. The Storm has fantastic call quality, very good RF and good battery life from what I can see. The camera is very good as is the video. The browser is the best one that Verizon has and gets the job done. Voice dial, yes, it has it unlike another phone. It does email and MMS messages. If I missed something ...

for the Apple iPhone 3G:
3G Iphone
Had it for two days and could not take it anymore!!!!! Battery just flat out sucked. 3 G speeds were erratic and the signel was all over the place. OS was very very laggy! Believe it or not, I liked the first one better. For 10 bucks more, the 3G at this point is simply not worth it. And yes, I live in a huge 3G area. And no, it's not the towers being swamped, ...

for the BlackBerry Curve 8330:
Review after a week
Ok, I was one of the first to get this phone. Was it worth the wait? You bet it was. To be short and brief, this phone for me is almost perfect! Yeah, it's not the Iphone with the wow factor but as a phone with plenty of extras, it's hard to beat. I find it rediculous on some reviews over at Howards where some guy says the keyboard sucks and that the browser ...

for the LG Voyager VX-10000:
Mini review
After trying 7 Iphones, the Voyager is a welcome addition to the Verizon lineup. What makes the Voyager a solid phone is the network. Thank god for Verizon!!!!! The Voyager I am sure will get pasted by the people that want it to fail. The pro's of the phone outweight the con's. Call quality is good, vibrate is decent, screens are wonderful, texting is a dream compared to the fruit phone, speakerphone is decent, touch screen is not ...

for the Motorola RAZR maxx Ve:
Expectations met
For those on the fence....you are going to see the people who hate motorolas come out in force to keep the rating low. Happens all the time. Pro's: Everthing that the razr and krzr do but better. Speakerphone is the best I have ever used....period. I have the extended battey and it makes the phone longer lasting but easier to hold while on long calls. Love it!! Con's: It does smudge but I don't care. Standard battery ...

for the LG VX-8600 / AX-8600:
Fair and Balanced Review
Overall, the phone is nice. Does most everything well and the price is good. Pro's: Good looking phone, call quality is decent on both ends, both displays are good, bluetooth for me was good, RF is fine, I never have a problem with any phone. Con's: Speakerphone is below average. Keypad is flat and cheap looking, too much plastic, backside of the phone looks real cheap, front looks great, I thought the krzr was a fingerprint magnet...8600 ...

for the Motorola KRZR K1m:
Fair and Balanced
Look, we knew for months about the UI, camera and glossy exterior. If you are not one of those that are convinced that Motorola or Verizon listens to Phonescoop, you will not be disappointed. It does just about everything well. The UI...who cares, I don't. Pro's: Very good call quality on both ends. Very good bluetooth. Very good speakerphone. Nice to hold onto and it's small. The MP3 player works well. ...

for the Motorola RAZR V3m:
Fair and Balanced Review( For grown ups only)
Between Howard Forums and Phonescoop, I don't know which is worse! The Razor V3M...have had it for a week now and so far it has been flawless. I'll say it again for the 100th time, the call quality is second to none on both ends of the call. Build quality and materials is top notch. I use the extended battery which makes my Razor a pleasure to use as a power user. Bluetooth is the best using the ...

for the Motorola RAZR V3c:
Here we go again
My goodness, I can't believe the naysayers are at it again. What were you expecting? You all had plenty of time to figure this one out. From the UI, bluetooth, etc, etc. Look, the bottom line is that this phone works very well in what it is advertised to do. No more, no less. Just a few Pro's to add here. Call quality is fantastic! Non-users of the razor, do not listen to ...

for the LG VX-8100:
Check into a clinic if you think the 8100 is better then the 815
Look, I won't get to fancy for you but here it is. Tell me and lets be serious here. What does the 8100 do better then the 815 as a phone? Justify the extra $150.00 to me, please. No one in Howards can give me an answer for that and I regard Howards as the King of cellphone reviewers. That forum has users that are very much educated on whats good and whats bad. ...

for the Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood:
815 Yes or No
The bottom line is that for the same price of the 710, you have got to go with this one. Feature for feature, the 815 comes out ahead. The battery life is a bit better(bigger battery), not by much though. I strongly recommend the extended battery. Voice dialing is better on the 815 and the menu is much faster then the 710. The 710 is a winner, make no mistake about it. This ...

for the Samsung SCH-N330:
You get what you pay for.
Well, I am really bummed! I had high expectations for this phone. The prelimary reports seemed to be positive but maybe they were given by 10 year olds. This phone really sucks! The call volume is lousy....really hard to hear. The speakerphone is on par with the 6100( which I feel is lousy). Call quality has lots of static, keypad is made for 5 year olds. Build quality is nice but the colors have ...

for the Motorola V710:
710 story is not fair and balanced
I have read lots of reviews concerning this phone and most of them were very negative. I must admit, when they first came out, I thought it was junk. With the newest firmware and the addition of an extended battery changes things big time. The extended battery gives it a much fuller look along with a much more solid feel. With the new price of the 710, it's a solid buy. The camera is not ...

for the LG VX-7000:
Nice phone..but
I really like this phone except for two things. When you are talking to someone, there is a slight background buzz that drives me nuts! Secondly, the vibrate on this phone is wayyyyyyyy to strong! It actually still vibrates after you open your phone..very annoying. Other then that, the phone is very nice but I worry about the build quality. Seems like it would scratch easily.

Oct 22, 2004, 8:56 PM
for the LG VX-6100:
Did not meet my expectations
Pro's: good call quality. Battery life is decent. Color screen is good when you can see it. Look and feel is good. Charges very fast! Con's: Crappy camera. Voice dialing is a 3 step process just to connect. Speakerphone, while decent, is of no valuable use. I expected more from this phone. Verizon needs to come out with a phone that is solid as a rock with solid everyday functions. This color screen thing is ...

for the Samsung SCH-A670:
This phone is not perfect.
I had this phone for about 2 weeks using the extended battery. With the standard battery this phone fails miserably. Even with the extended, the meter is so bad!!!! Call quality is a bit like the a530, somewhat erratic at times. Go's from not so loud to very loud without even doing anything(yes, I replaced it a few times). Look and feel is superb!! Menu is great, very nice keypad. Solid phone. ...

Sep 16, 2004, 8:16 PM
for the Motorola v60p / v60s:
Fantastic phone, very underated
Ok, here's the deal. I have tried many cellphones and I keep coming back to this one. No problems whatsoever except for average battery life. Do this as a test when walking about town. I'll bet you can say that the v60 is used by more people by at least 5 to 1. In my town, that is all I see. V60's everywhere. Why do I like it. Call quality is superb! Speakerphone is ...
