for the Motorola V600:Moto Mysteries
I have a new V600 which I am evaluating. However, Moto and Cingular have just announced that the V600 is being pulled off Cingular due to RF interference between the screen and the GSM 850 band Cingular uses. Oddly, ATT uses GSM 850 also, and its sales reps actually recommend the phone. So far, the RF has been OK. Could there be more to this story? Maybe Cingular told Moto they could take this phone (and all its reported glitches) ...

for the Motorola T720 / T721 (GSM):Send it back to moto
Pros: light, color screen Cons: battery life, charging, reception(RF), software I have ATT in Chicago, and this phone won worst RF hands down in the local store. Don't be fooled like I was. Moto support nonexistent, sync software is extra, expensive, and corrupted my Palm data. Screen would go dead if signal was lost, which was often.

for the LG L1150 / L1100:Not ready for the bigs!
Good: Way cool form and color. Solid. Kids liked the camera. Very good sound from external speaker. Bad: I am getting only 2 days of stand by a charge, and not much talk time. Talk sound quality is not as clear as others. Reception, based on side by side comparisions at local phonestore, not up to snuff.
