for the Samsung Galaxy S6 (GSM):
Too many hardware problems
I really wanted to love this phone - it's a decent size (still a bit big for me, but better than most), it's fast, camera is amazing, screen is beautiful, and I really liked my Galaxy S4. But I've had to return it twice now with hardware failures so am bailing and going to iPhone while I patiently await the Nexus 5 hardware refresh (fall 2015?). Pros: - size, speed, camera, screen are all great - great connectivity on ...

for the Motorola Droid:
A geek's delight!
I've had my Droid for a couple of weeks, and am still loving it. It's possibly my favorite new gadget since TiVo! Everyone's already done the many Pros to death, so I'll focus on the Cons: - the UI is techie-oriented, still needs some refinement in usability and intuitiveness. I still find myself lost sometimes trying to figure out how to do some things. - some of the built-in apps aren't particularly good. The SMS client, GMail ...

for the LG VX-8700:
Almost perfect
Had this phone for 1 1/2 months now, it's as good as all the other reviews claim so I'll stick to the main points only: Pros: - screen is awesome - gets great reception - sound quality on both ends of calls is better than any other CDMA phone I've seen Cons: - possibly reliability? - had to return my first VX8700 after the display started flickering during calls. Also it's crashed on me twice now when attaching text to ...

for the Nokia 6235i / 6236i:
Finally, a good Verizon phone!
This is a great little phone - smart design, intuitive menus, great reception, small & thin for slipping into a pocket, and a surprisingly good (VGA) camera. A big improvement over my LG VX-6100! Only gripe is the sound quality is a bit tinny on the built-in earpiece; haven't tried a headset yet. The speakerphone is very clear & loud. If you're on Verizon and want a solid, basic phone with great reception, it doesn't get any better than ...

for the LG VX-6100:
Ok phone, several really annoying flaws
Have had this phone for 6 months on Verizon in the Bay Area... reception is generally good pretty much everywhere, though not as good as my old AT&T TDMA coverage (which is being dismantled, so much for that!) The VX-6100 is capable enough, but I can't say I love this phone. Pros: - it generally works when you need it to - good basic feature set - pictures, txt, etc. - solidly built Cons: - it's visibly slow internally, ...

for the Sony Ericsson T616:
Mediocre performance + ATT GSM = no good.
What a disappointment - many friends were getting this phone and being all high-tech with photos, text messages and all the neat things you can do. Unfortunately as a telephone, it's not good enough to do the job. Lots of positives that others have mentioned, but negatives include: - sluggish UI has inconsistencies that make it hard to just jam a few keys and get what you want. You must wait for it to catch up, and often ...
