for the Samsung BlackJack II SGH-i617:
Nice upgrade from BJ I
This is a nice upgrade from the first BlackJack, though I might swap for the 'wine red' color when it debuts in December. PROS: Ӣ Great size Ӣ Improved d-pad and thumb wheel Ӣ WM6 is snappy Ӣ Lots of on-board memory Ӣ Works flawless with The Missing Sync (Mac user here); I can also BT sync via ActiveSync Ӣ Internal GPS; works great with Google Maps Ӣ Upgraded keypad CONS: Ӣ The 'piano black' finish shows everything; I miss the soft-touch plastic on the BJ I. Ӣ The plastic ...

Much faster than the v710. - Bluetooth = Handsfree, Headset, OBEX File Transfer unlocked. CONS: - USCC graphics = lousy. The USCC ...

for the Motorola V710:
Excellent Phone; Very Pleased
I have a US Cellular v710 with the newer firmware. Love the phone and the service. I was using a v810 (excellent phone for me) but with the new Chicago hands-free law, it was time to get a v710. PROS: 1. Bluetooth headset (HS850). 2. I can get it to sync with my Mac using BT. 3. Large display. Clean and crisp. 4. Love the "Obey Moto" voice recognition. 5. Great RF and speakerphone. CONS: 1. So-so camera, but not a dealbreaker. Rarely use it. 2. No rotating ...

for the Motorola V810:
Happy with v810
I give it a 4.5. The lack of Bluetooth, video, etc. is missing the point of this phone. It's not outdated in terms of styling but this, of course, is a matter or taste. It's a great tri-mode CDMA phone that fits nicely in your pocket or in a holster. Huge display, speakerphone, and stubby antenna! If you want all the bells and whistles, this is not the phone for you. Pros: Great size and weight! Cannot emphasize this enough. Not ...
