Initial First Impression/ Beta Testing
Sanyo M1 becomes Sprint's flagship phone, other than the Samsung M610. Most of the features are typical on a cell phone -- operational differences in include a 2MP camera, stereo bluetooth and no micro sd slot. The features are nice, but just like all cell phones, the company leaves you enough to drool over more. The 262k screen is relatively translucent. I will submit more later.
Solid!
This really is (for the end user) a perfect phone. At 3.35 oz., the phone displays a brilliant 65K TFT screen. Different than the 670 on Verizon, this phone offers more camera features as well as 32 chord polyphony, rather than a lousy 16 chord. It's nice to see that they incorporated a 10X digital zoom as well as a variety of multi-shot features. The white balance is a nice touch. And so on. These ...
Not so great
Aside from the unique ergonomic design, this phone is nothing to write home about. CONS: The video capture is extremely short and garbled -- it seems to be shorter than expected. Is missing a crucial band on the GSM side. Design is not as solid as the V600. PROS: Lightweight Nice-looking screen. However, incomparable to Samsung.
